SlabSutra

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

DSG Buildcon Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of SlabSutra, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information when you use our application, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide, including your name and mobile number for verification, the contents of documents (such as Form 16) that you upload for tax computation, and usage/device information (such as app interactions, device type, and approximate location) that helps us operate and improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide, operate, and improve the SlabSutra service — including computing your estimated tax position, generating your personalized savings roadmap, processing payments, communicating with you about your account, and, where you have not opted out, informing you about financial and related products or offers we believe may be relevant to you.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information, only as needed and on a confidentiality basis, with:

  • Group companies and affiliates of DSG Buildcon Private Limited, for internal operations and to offer you related products or services.
  • Service providers who support our operations — such as cloud hosting, SMS/WhatsApp/OTP delivery, payment processing, and customer support providers — solely to perform services on our behalf.
  • Business and marketing partners (for example, banks, insurers, investment or lending platforms), so they may present you with products or offers that may be relevant to your financial profile. This sharing is need-to-know, described further below, and you can opt out at any time.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities, where disclosure is required by law, regulation, or a valid government/judicial request.
  • A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of business assets, subject to that entity honoring this Privacy Policy.

4. Your Choices & Consent

Sharing with business and marketing partners for product offers happens only where you have given consent (for example, during sign-up or within an offer flow) or where permitted by law. You can withdraw consent and opt out of promotional communications and partner offers at any time from within the app or by writing to us at the contact details below — this will not affect the core tax-computation service, which does not depend on such sharing.

5. Data Security

We employ industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your data both in transit and at rest, and we require any third party we share data with to maintain comparable safeguards.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal or tax-record-keeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent to sharing or marketing communications, at any time by contacting us at the details listed below.

8. Grievance Officer

In accordance with applicable Indian law, any complaints or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy may be addressed to our Grievance Officer at [email protected] or by phone at +91 89867 33022.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be notified within the app.
